Who can avail of these services?
You can avail of the services provided by the Maigue Primary Care Team if you reside in the Adare/Patrickswell/Clarina areas or if your GP is a member of the team.
Will I have to pay for these services?
All services are free of charge to medical card holders. GP charges will apply to private patients but at present no charges apply for the services of the other team members. Essential equipment is funded only for medical card / LTI card holders.
Who can make a referral?
Any member of the Maigue Primary Care Team can make a referral to other team members/other services on your behalf.
Sharing Information with the Maigue Primary Care Team
All staff working for the Primary Care Team have an ethical duty to keep information about patients confidential and all staff are trained in information security and confidentiality. All information provided by patients will be regarded as confidential and shall only be passed on to other members on a need-to-know basis.
